Is that not the cutest thing ever?!!! Created by my incredibly talented cousin-in-law/friend (with friend being the really important part). Seriously, is it any wonder that Jean is a constant source of creative inspiration for me?!! This is one of her latest endeavors--she's been making these beanie baby mutants. Here are some of her other incredibly awesome creations. Is she not just amazingly talented?!! And you know what--her heart of gold surpasses her talent, and damn, is that saying something!
(I haven't yet come up with a name for my little elefly/butterphant...I'm waiting for her/him to reveal it to me.)

Unfortunately, Amanda, I that elephant body and those butterfly wings were from singeton Beanie Babies, as opposed to those that I have in duplicate or triplicate (it's a long story). I can, though, look at my other elephants (which are not as soft as that one is) and other winged creatures and see what might inspire me.
