*Oops. Looks like I failed in my bid to post every day this month. Oh well, I knew when I started that success was far from guaranteed. There's always next November, right?
*Eva left a short while ago. I'm feeling sad that she had to leave, and yet so very grateful that she was able to come in the first place. I won't speak for her, but I can say that I had a wonderful time. Eva is sweet and down-to-earth and outspoken (which is awesome because we have the same world view :D ) and funny and easygoing. We didn't get out and do a lot, and I feel bad about that. But I enjoyed our time just sitting and talking. And talk we did! :D I can honestly say that everyone in the Stevens' household enjoyed having her here (even if Gray, in one of his quirk fits, couldn't seem to call her by name). So That Person, if you're reading this, thanks so much for coming and adding some bright sunshine to our lives!!!

New day. And on today's agenda:
*Worry about Eva. Who is *still* stuck at JFK, and looks to be there for most of the day.
*Finish Gray's quarterly report (got much of it done yesterday) and start Annie's.
*Stress over hitting the "mark all as read" button, do it anyway, mourn, move on.
*Go to parent-teacher conference. Love that Max's teacher likes the kids to come, too.
*Order a few Christmas gifts.
*Sneak in some crocheting on another Christmas gift.
*Laundry. Always laundry.
Okay. Suppose I better get on with the old agenda now. What's the best thing on your list for the day?

Best thing? The email I'm writing to you right now!
Ugh. Your family (and Eva!) are so stinking cute! I hope Eva got home okay!
I need to work on Christmas presents too. Double ugh. ;)
I have decidd that your house is like the oracle at delphi of book blogging, the place where one goes to Hear the Word. I hope I get to come someday! Thoguh you might regret inviting me if I did :D
I have enjoyed your posts in November, Debi. Even if you can't post everyday a lot is still fun. :)
1) Don't feel bad: it was the perfect mix of doing things/visiting places and just hanging out!
2) I had a wonderful time to the nth degree!!!! I was sad to leave too & grateful you invited me into your home and took such good care of me!!!!
3) lol @ my being outspoken. It's so true, but I'm also way more outspoken when I'm surrounded by other liberals! That's not a luxury I get a lot in my daily non-online life, so I probably go overboard when it comes along!
4) I loved meeting all of your family & they were all so nice to me! Your house & family are magic Debi, and you're at the center of it all. You really, really set the tone, and it was just so incredibly wonderful to be part of the atmosphere you've created. You're such a special woman and you have such a special family, it just warms my heart thinking about y'all. You're welcome in Texas any time!!!
