tidbits and babblings...

*My reading as of late has been, well...actually, it almost hasn't been at all. (Except for school stuff.) I started Have His Carcase on October 14th (I only know the exact date because I started it the morning after read-a-thon), and I am only about a quarter of the way through. This is most definitely *not* due to lack of interest. In fact, I am loving loving loving it! I can only assume this lack of progress is because my reading time has been overtaken by crafting time.

*Crafting time that is solely spent on making Christmas gifts. Yes, I'm stressing out a bit over finishing everything in time, but mostly I'm just having fun crocheting and sewing and beading and knitting away.

*And papercrafting. As in making our Christmas cards. Every year I tell myself that I'm going to start them in January. Every year I fail to follow through. So every year I scramble to get them made, addressed, and mailed before the calendar switches to a new year. I know of a few friends who are already busy addressing their cards...the gosh darn overachievers! :P

*What the heck is with all the spam comments lately?!!

*When I said above there that the only reading I was getting done was for school, it wasn't quite true...Max and I are still reading A Hero for Wondla. We're closing in on the end of the book. But our chapter last night knocked the wind out of both of us. We've been saying things like, "That couldn't have just happened!" and "I just can't believe this!" Rarely am I just caught so off-guard by events in a book. Yes, we're eager to get back to it tonight...

just want to say this: if you made xmas cards beginning this January for next xmas...but the time next xmas came, you'd have forgotten where you put them and have to make them over again! Heh..well..at least "I" would lol.
(however I did address my first card yesterday...but that's because time goes by faster when you are old. I am afraid I'll go to bed and wake up after christmas and have missed sending them!)

I all ready have to redo a card, so maybe not the best idea to do them too early. I just want to make sure to actually get them mailed this year!

I was just thinking that I need to start my Christmas cards...because since I've been married I have NEVER sent them out. I still have the discounted set I bought years ago at an after Christmas sale. Ha!

I'm reading Bleak House and that's it for me this year. If I finish then that just means more sewing time but other than that I'm letting the books fall to the wayside. Just enjoy!!
